Aberdeen International Curling Championship 2017

We are pleased to invite you to the Curling Champions Tour & Scottish Curling Tour event in Aberdeen. The Aberdeen International Curling Championship will be hosted by Curl Aberdeen from 16th to 19th March 2017.

Twenty four teams from around the world will contest the competition which will comprise of four sections of six teams playing a round robin format. The top two teams from each section will progress to the quarter finals where they will compete for their share of the total prize pot of £13,900.

The entry fee for the event is £600 per team. Included in the entry fee is:

·      shuttle bus transport from Aberdeen Airport to Curl Aberdeen
·      shuttle bus transport during the event from the host hotel to Curl Aberdeen
·      Meals and soft beverages in the players’ lounge during the event
·      £15 CCT fee

Curl Aberdeen is a purpose built, state of the art curling facility situated to the west of Aberdeen. Opened in 2005 Curl Aberdeen has held many competitions and events including the European Curling Championships in 2009. The six lane curling rink, which also has top of the range conference facilities, is the only dedicated curling facility in the North East of Scotland. It is a members club with over 700 members aged 8-90 playing seven days a week.

Aberdeen International Curling Champions 2016

Congratulations to Team Murdoch who are the inaugural Aberdeen International Curling Champions. They played a great final against Team Brewster winning 5-1. Team Murdoch were presented with the Bruce Ferguson Memorial Trophy by Bruce's wife, Kate Ferguson,

Aberdeen International Curling Championship 2016

Curl Aberdeen is a purpose built, state of the art curling facility situated to the west of Aberdeen. Opened in 2005 Curl Aberdeen has held many competitions and events including the European Curling Championships in 2009. The six lane curling rink, which also has top of the range conference facilities, is the only dedicated curling facility in the North East of Scotland. It is a members club with over 700 members aged 8-90 playing seven days a week.

Curl Aberdeen is running the Aberdeen International Curling Championship in partnership with British Curling and Village Urban Resort – Aberdeen, in support of Parkinson’s UK. Parkinson’s UK is a support and research charity working to find a cure and improve life for everyone affected by Parkinson’s.
